The TaonX Horsefly Trap provides an environmentally friendly and highly effective solution for reducing horsefly populations in outdoor areas. Its innovative operating principle takes advantage of the horsefly's natural behaviour: a sun-warmed black ball mimics the body heat of an animal and attracts horseflies. After an unsuccessful landing attempt, the insects instinctively fly upwards and are safely trapped inside the collection container. This allows the trap to reduce horsefly populations in the immediate surroundings by up to 95% – completely without insecticides or poisons.
